Collection: Metal Plates

Metal road sign plates are used in temporary applications such as around road works that may be taking place for a short period of time. They are manufactured from Zintec, which is a thin cost effective metal to use for this purpose. They are mostly standard sizes as determined by the chapter 8 regulations such as 1050 x 750mm rectangles or 750mm Triangles and are designed to be placed into a matching size metal frame. Once in the metal frames the signs are elevated enough to be seen easily by passing traffic. The frames are often weighted down with sand bags to offer further stability.
